Kimu

Community Guidelines

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Kimu is a home for K-pop fans to share what they love and connect with each other. These Guidelines keep it welcoming and safe. They apply to everything on Kimu — posts, comments, messages, profiles, and usernames — and they are part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban.

Be respectful

Treat others the way you’d want to be treated. No harassment, bullying, threats, or hateful conduct — including attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic. Disagreeing about your bias is fine; targeting people is not.

Keep it appropriate — and protect minors

Do not post sexual or pornographic content, or content that is excessively graphic. We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This is reported to the appropriate authorities and results in an immediate permanent ban.

No violence, illegal, or harmful content

Don’t post threats or incitement to violence, content promoting illegal activity, or content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to local emergency or crisis services.

No spam, scams, or fake engagement

Don’t spam, post misleading or repetitive content, run scams or phishing, impersonate others, or use bots, automation, or fake accounts to inflate likes, follows, Sarang, or other engagement.

Respect privacy

Don’t share private or identifying information about other people — including idols and other fans — without consent (no doxxing). Respect that public figures are still entitled to privacy in their personal lives.

Respect intellectual property

Only post or upload content you have the right to share — including photos you add to idol and group profiles. Don’t post material that infringes someone’s copyright or trademark. Rights holders can report infringement under the copyright section of our Terms of Service, and you can report any photo in the app. Repeat infringers have their accounts removed.

Be authentic

Use one account and represent yourself honestly. Don’t impersonate idols, agencies, staff, or other people, and don’t misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

Keep the economy fair

Sarang and Points are for in-app appreciation only. Don’t buy, sell, trade, or transfer accounts, Sarang, Points, or other virtual items outside the app, and don’t try to exploit or manipulate the rewards or purchase systems.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, use the in-app Report and Block tools. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts depending on severity and history. We may act without prior notice for serious violations.

If you believe we made a mistake, you can appeal by emailing support@kmoonproject.com.

Changes

We may update these Guidelines as our community grows. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
